If you experience convulsions, maintain an airway and give oxygen. For the relief of seizure – intravenous diazepam, 0.1-0.3 mg/kg (but not more than 10 mg). Interactions with other drugs
It is contraindicated to use Theo-24 Sr in combination with other xanthine derivatives. It enhances the effect of sympathomimetics and diuretics (due to an increase in glomerular filtration), reduces the effectiveness of drugs Li + and beta-blockers.
It is prescribed with caution simultaneously with anticoagulants. In combination with phenobarbital, phenytoin, rifampicin, isoniazid, carbamazepine, sulfinpyrazone, aminoglutethimide and moricizine, there is a decrease in theophylline effectiveness, which may require an increase in its doses.
With a simultaneous use of antibiotics intensity of action may increase, which may require a decrease in theophylline dose.
